Hi, my name is Doris and welcome to my blog, Walking Deeper. Thanks for visiting!

The purpose of Walking Deeper, is to encourage, equip, and engage readers to walk deeper with God, find encouragement through the Word, and use their spiritual gifts and talents to make a difference in their world; in other words their sphere of influence. Walking Deeper is about walking by faith and in deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am a Women’s Ministry leader, writer, and speaker who loves encouraging women to flourish in their calling and purpose. God has plans for each one of us, isn’t that exciting? God knows us personally, and He is calling us to know Him.

• Ways to overcome the overwhelming through God’s Word
• Difficult seasons and circumstances, and how God carries us through
• Relevant ways to apply truth to our every-day lives

MINISTRY LIFE

As a devoted follower of Jesus, I’m passionate about discipling women of all generations by encouraging them to walk deeper in faith. As a Women’s Ministry leader, I am blessed to assist women in discovering and using their spiritual gifts for ministry.

Counseling and encouraging women through the Word is a joy, and we all need encouragement don’t we?  I spend several days a week working on staff in our church office, and on Thursday evenings, leading a women’s Bible study/Life Group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOME LIFE

A wife, mom, and soccer Gammy, I stay joyfully busy. You might find me hanging out with the kids in the tree-house or shooting hoops. I love to read, travel with my awesome hubby of over 30 years, and cook for the whole gang. Not much of a baker though, but I’m working on it!

My joy is to speak and encourage women through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
